Paid-up and verified members enjoy the following benefits:

• Opportunity to submit your input and complaints which is then reviewed and addressed by the committee at high priority
• Email correspondence about new and key RVRA initiatives
• Invitation to the AGM and special meetings
• Voting power at the AGM and special meetings

A valid RVRA member is a home, property or business owner in the Riebeek Valley that has signed up and paid their annual membership fee.

While we require a name to associate with each member, unique memberships are attributed to the provided ratepaying address within Riebeek Valley.

Areas of Riebeek Valley that qualify for membership broadly consist of: Riebeek Kasteel, Riebeek Wes (up to and including Ongegund), Esterhof, and Riebeek Valley Rural.

The RVRA is a voluntary association, and membership fees are primarily required in order to cover the RVRA running costs. These costs include banking and website hosting fees. Any excess funds and donations generated by the RVRA are distributed for special initiatives as agreed to by its members. The executive committee serves on a voluntary basis and does not receive any remuneration for their services to the RVRA.

It is common practice for ratepayers/home-owners' associations to charge a membership fee. Please note that the membership fee will be reviewed annually. Any changes thereto will be affected only after due consultation with the membership.
